Total Reward is the complete annual pay package a colleague receives and can include base pay, shift pay, pension and other financial, lifestyle, health and protection benefits.

Some benefits come with your role, such as medicash plan. This means that IPN covers the cost of these and you will be automatically enrolled onto these schemes. 

 

Other benefits are flexible. This means that colleagues can choose these benefits, and the cost of these benefits will be deducted straight from your pay. Colleagues are not able to make purchases with such a value that results in your pay dropping below the national living wage. This can often happen when a monthly deduction is taken from a weekly pay. Therefore, for colleagues to be able to choose a flexible benefit, the colleague must be paid monthly. If you are currently weekly paid, but would like to change to monthly pay, please speak to your People Partner who will talk to you about how IPN will support you to do this. 

 

All benefits purchased are offered at a heavily discounted price. Some benefits are deducted from your net pay and others are subject to "salary exchange". Salary Exchange means that the benefit is deducted from your gross pay, so you will make tax and / or national savings on these purchases too.
