Meet James...

A little bit about James and what he has to say….

I joined IPN in 2018 as Managing Director and now hold the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) position. Prior to joining the great team we have here, I have held a variety of roles in other fast growing, international pet food companies, helping many brands grow. 

I graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in Animal Sciences, specialising in animal and pet nutrition. My father had a nutrition business too, so you could say I have been involved in pet for over 40 years!

I am passionate about life - passionate about pets and the natural world, making great pet nutrition, building great teams, sustainability in business, family, the outdoors and balloons!

I want us all to be proud of IPN and our vision to be a sustainable business. For me sustainability encompasses, people, pets, planet, products and profitability. Profitability is so important so we can create a positive and sustainable business cycle and invest in all, for the good of all.

It makes me so proud to feed our products and as a result, see such healthy pets with shiny coats and a vitality about them. Studying nutrition and then putting things into practice using fantastic, fresh, high-quality ingredients and creating some of the greatest, most affordable and sustainable foods means I am a very lucky geek!

I have 2 dogs. Meet Barney, a red fox Labrador dog, and Patch, a Parson Russell Terrier bitch. Together with my family, I thrive on getting out for long walks and seeing the health that great food and exercise brings.
